В данной статье рассматривается социокультурная идентичность кыргызского народа. Основной акцент делается на языковой фактор. Вместе с теоретическими данными автором предлагаются результаты социологического исследования, где говорится, что кыргызский язык за годы независимости не смог реализоваться как государственный язык. Результаты исследования показали различные причины данной проблемы, но особо акцентируется внимание на роли официального - русского языка, так как русский язык до сегодняшнего дня является языком науки, коммуникации, политики и других сфер в кыргызском обществе. В связи с этим автором предлагаются определенные рекомендации по улучшению статуса государственного кыргызского языка, при этом, не ущемляя статус русского - официального языка. This article examines the sociocultural identity of the Kyrgyz people. The author makes the main emphasis on the linguistic factor. Together with the theoretical data, the author suggests the results of a sociological survey, which states that the Kyrgyz language for the years of independence could not be realized as a state language. The results of the survey showed different reasons for this problem, but the special emphasis is placed on the role of the official language - Russian, so Russian is still the language of science, communication, politics and the other spheres in the Kyrgyz society.
